Dates

Those dates look fine right now.  Hayden's baseball will be ending around the 28th, and he is in a camp from July 23-27 (just down the street at the school).

2012 Summer Vacation Plans

Hey! I thought I would pick up where we left off on this vacation planning blog so we can all participate without endless cc'ing everyone on responses. I hope everyone remembers how to get here.

We have talked individually about dates and settled on early August. Factors that we considered were:

• Hayden's last day of baseball is July 29
• Kinsey starts school August 21
• Ben and Tiff would like to have a weekend getaway to celebrate their wedding anniversary
• Roxy and I would like to have Hayden visit HHI for a few days by himself

Here is what I propose, but I am totally open to other ideas. Give me some feedback.

1. Roxy and I would fly to MSP July 27-30. We would stay with the 3 kids while Ben and Tiff go away for that weekend.
2. Hayden would return with us to HHI on July 30 and return with his family to MSP on August 10.
3. Ben, Tiff, Marlo and Felix would fly to HHI on (or around) August 3 and return with Hayden on August 10.

There is no magic about August 10 - or any other date for that matter - but I had to start somewhere. Let me hear from you, and when we have a somewhat final plan I will go to work on all the reservations.
